What's your biggest accomplishment so far?
One of my biggest accomplishments has been serving on the NAACP National Board of Directors. It’s given me the opportunity to advocate for civil rights at the highest level, mentor young leaders, and influence initiatives that create lasting impact in communities. Another is One of my biggest accomplishments has been becoming a homeowner at a young age. It represents independence and legacy building—and it’s a reminder that with faith, planning, and hard work, the goals I set for myself are attainable.

One beauty or style tip you swear by.
Confidence is the best accessory—no outfit or makeup look is complete without it. But practically speaking, I swear by a bold lip and well-moisturized skin. No matter what I wear no one can wear it like me.

Coffee, Tea or Matcha - What keeps you going?
Coffee (but very sweet), Tea (Chai with coffee creamer)

How do you balance your professional life, pageant life and social life?
Truthfully, I struggle with balance. There are moments when the demands of my professional life, pageant responsibilities, and personal relationships all seem to compete at once. What helps me is setting clear priorities, creating structure through planning, and reminding myself that it’s okay not to do everything perfectly. I lean on my faith, my support system, and intentional rest to stay grounded. Balance for me isn’t about doing it all—it’s about showing up fully where I’m needed most in that moment.

I’m most excited to connect with other Queens across the globe and use this platform to bring advocacy to the forefront of my reign. I want to amplify voices, spotlight issues that matter, and leave a legacy of impact that goes beyond the crown.

What motivates you to keep pushing to your goals?
My greatest motivation is making my mom proud and honoring the sacrifices she made for me. I also strive to be an example for my siblings, showing them that they can be anything they aspire to be in this world.

What made you want to compete in the MBIA Pageant?

Returning to the MBIA Pageant as a former queen feels like the perfect opportunity to showcase a whole new version of myself. I wanted to compete again to bring my fresh perspective and new platform, EmpowerHER, to inspire and empower women on a deeper level. MBIA has always been a space to celebrate confidence, culture, and community, and I’m excited to use my voice to make an even greater impact both nationally and internationally.

What's one lesson life has taught you so far?

Life has taught me to stay the course and never give up, because God always has a greater plan. Even when things don’t go the way I imagined, I’ve learned to trust His timing and know that every step—whether it feels like a setback or a success—is preparing me for something greater.

If you had a free day- with no responsibilities, how would you spend that day?

I would start the morning with prayer, journaling, and a refreshing Pilates session to center my mind and body. Then, I’d spend time outdoors—whether walking in nature or enjoying the sunshine with my daughter. I’d end the day with good food, laughter, and quality time with loved ones, because those are the moments that truly refill my spirit.

How do you balance your professional life, pageant life and social life?

Balance for me comes from faith, intention, and discipline. I prioritize what matters most by staying organized, setting boundaries, and giving myself grace. In my professional life, I pour into my work with focus; in my pageant journey, I dedicate time to preparation and purpose; and in my social life, I make space for genuine connections with loved ones. Most importantly, I practice self-care so that I can show up fully present in every area of my life.

Who's a woman that you look up to and why?

I look up to Maya Angelou because she embodied wisdom, resilience, and grace. Through her words, she taught generations the power of using your voice, standing in your truth, and finding beauty in every stage of life. I admire how she turned her experiences into lessons that continue to inspire and empower women worldwide. She reminds me that my story, too, has the power to uplift and make a difference.

As Ms. Black International Ambassador 2025, what’s one thing you’re most excited to experience or accomplish during your reign?

I’m most excited to fully lean into my role as an ambassador of change—not just wearing a crown, but amplifying my platform, EmpowerHER, with action. Over the next 365 days, I look forward to spearheading educational forums and community events that tackle critical issues like health disparities, economic empowerment, and mentorship for Black women and girls. I’m passionate about creating tangible impact through strategic partnerships and advocacy, far beyond the stage. MBIA isn’t just a one-day event—it’s a year-long mission to encourage, empower, and enlighten communities around the world.

How do you define confidence at this stage of life?

Confidence, for me, is no longer just about appearance—it’s about alignment. At this stage of life, confidence means knowing who I am, whose I am, and walking boldly in my God-given purpose. It’s the peace that comes with embracing my journey—the highs, the lows, and the lessons—and allowing that to fuel the way I show up for myself and others. True confidence is authenticity, resilience, and the courage to shine unapologetically.
