Job Title: Region Contestant Liaison
Overview:
The Region Contestant Liaison plays a vital role in supporting the mission of the MBIA Pageant by serving as the direct connection between contestants and pageant leadership. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about mentorship, organization, and promoting opportunities for young women.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the interview process for regional contestants, ensuring professionalism and fairness.
Provide guidance and support to contestants throughout the pageant journey, helping them feel prepared and confident.
Manage contestant communication and logistics, including scheduling, updates, and responding to questions.
Support the recruitment of new contestants, actively promoting the pageant within assigned regions.
Work closely with the pageant’s leadership team to ensure contestants receive consistent information and resources.
Represent the values and standards of the MBIA Pageant at all times.
Qualifications:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience in pageantry, event coordination, or mentorship (preferred but not required).
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Professional, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
Commitment:
Part-time, with flexible hours based on pageant season and regional events.
Will include virtual meetings and occasional in-person appearances depending on region.
