To compete in the prestigious Teen, Miss, Ms., and Mrs. Black International Ambassador Pageant, applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements. These standards ensure that each contestant reflects MBIA’s core values of leadership, service, integrity, and global empowerment while representing their communities with distinction.

GENERAL ELIGIBILITY (ALL DIVISIONS)
Identify as female and provide documentation as required by MBIA.
Identify as being of Black / African descent.
Meet territorial eligibility requirements for the state or country represented (birth, residence, education, employment, parental ties, or other MBIA-approved connection).
Demonstrate good character, leadership potential, and alignment with the MBIA mission.
Be in sufficient physical, emotional, and mental health to fulfill program responsibilities. Be able to meet time, travel, appearance, and participation obligations.  

TEEN DIVISION
Be 14–18 years of age as of August 1, 2026.
Be unmarried and not legally married at any time.
Not be pregnant and not have given birth.
Be enrolled in high school or have graduated with a minimum GPA of 2.5 (4.0 scale).
 
MISS DIVISION
Be 19–29 years of age as of August 1, 2026.
Be unmarried and not legally married at any time.
Not be pregnant and not have given birth.  

MS. DIVISION
Be 30–50 years of age, or 19–50 if divorced, widowed, or a parent.
Not be currently married.
Parenthood is permitted.  

MRS. DIVISION
Be 21–60 years of age as of August 1, 2026.
Be legally married at the time of participation (documentation required).
Parenthood is not required.
