The MBIA Cohort: Building Leaders, Strengthening Communities
The Miss Black International Ambassador Cohort is the heart of our mission to empower Black women to lead, serve, and inspire. Through mentorship, training, and collaboration, this program highlights the importance of community, leadership, and service.
Did you know?
Black women make up 7% of the U.S. population, yet they occupy less than 4% of executive leadership roles in Fortune 500 companies and represent only 7% of state legislators. Shockingly, the U.S. has never had a Black woman governor. These disparities highlight systemic barriers such as inequities, limited mentorship, and insufficient resources, underscoring the need for targeted initiatives to support Black women in leadership.

The Miss Black International Ambassador LeadHERship Cohort is a transformative five-month immersive program designed to empower and elevate Black women leaders. This initiative integrates education, application, and collaboration, creating a dynamic environment for personal and professional growth. The program celebrates the power and potential of Black women, offering them the tools and network to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.
